Great video. I only found one thing I didn't like. Rapid acting insulin can last around 5 hours for some people. Others it only lasts 4 hours. It depends on one's level of resistance to insulin. It is also depended on someone's PH level. A high PH level can help burn through insulin quicker. For me rapid lasting insulin can stay around for at least five and a half hours. It would be nice if they explained that little detail.

These videos are wonderful! BUT, are there any that you know of that are more helpful for illiterate patients? I am a nursing student and I have a hispanic patient who is a newly diagnosed diabetic and cannot read, and I am having a very hard time finding resources that can help me prepare him for discharge, where he will have to manage his diabetes independently.
